Red cloth cover has 4 spots of tape residue; corners bumped & lightly frayed; bottom edge rubbed; top of spine frayed; back free-endpaper missing. Text is clean and unmarked. Includes chapters on Mary Queen of Scots; Bed Valances, Curtains, Hangings; Needlework Pictures; Raised Work; Samplers; Ayrshire Needlework; appendix; glossary; index; 68 illustrations, several in color.
