bonjour mes amis et tout,

as much as cajun wants to help all his new delcampers with their questions, sometimes he finds the subjects are out of his expertise. so i make this friendly suggestion to all on this particular forum. if your subject deals with stamps, coins, postcards, old papers, or other venues that have a special forum made for that subject, i suggest using that forum. why, because an expert is more likely to give you a better response. with the reduced staff situation on delcampe at present, this may be the best way to get the help you seek. all of us members here on delcampe want to provide assistance and as for questions on collecting, we are good. as for the site and matters relating to its operation, sebastien will have to deal with those. i hope this helps you and you don't have to do this........:pc_user3: and get this....:pc_user2:.

amities,
cajunsr.

Looking back through past fora, this "Cajunsr1" does indeed seem to be a wise old member, though sometimes a bit too transatlantic in phraseology for the comfort of some of us.

I would suggest too that difficult questions go also onto the French (and possibly other) fora under the appropriate category. It really isn't difficult to translate something like "Can anyone identify this, please ?" into the appropriate language. (If you don't translate it, you are in breach of the delcampe Terms and Conditions and action is liable to be taken against you ). Doing so will give you access to a much larger group of possible experts.
